I had previously reviewed the Breffo Spiderpodium Smartphone & Tablet Stand and was intrigued about these two products, the Adventure Camera Kit and the Gumstick.
Both are very different products and I will thus split this post into two main parts.
Before getting into these short reviews, I would like to thank Scott from Breffo for sending these out for review!
Furthermore, if you’re interested in purchasing them here are the links below!
First of all, I would like to thank Perixx for sending me the MX-2200 for review. I was very much impressed with the other products offered by Perixx, thus was intrigued to see what this mouse offered.
The mouse can be found on AmazonUK for around £40 & AmazonUSA for $32
Before getting into the written review, here’s my video review:
First of all, I would like to thank Julian from Elgato in sending me this product for review!
It can be purchased on AmazonUK for around £60 & AmazonUSA.
Here’s my video review of it:
I found the Elgato EyeTV W a really nice addition to my collection of gadgets. It’s something that I would take with me on a camping trip, or be inclined to give my my little cousin, to watch TV in the car, whilst I drive.
The device comes with a few things:
-A small antenna for on-the-go use
-A larger antenna, with a long wire, used to receive a stronger signal
-An adapter used for connecting your EyeTV W to your home’s antenna, and thus using the device as a means of streaming TV to your mobile/tablet.
-A Micro USB charging cable
I found the included package full and great for different uses. The large antenna, when I’m at work – the small antenna when I’m on the move and the adapter when I’m at home.
The battery life of the device was also reasonably good.
From a full charge (which took 2hrs from 0 to 100%), I got 4hrs30mins out of the device. That was a constant stream of live TV.
What further impressed me about the device was its ability to record live TV whilst you watch it.
The recording is saved on your device and is in a .mpg file.
Finally, the icing on the cake was the easy to use and very intuitive app that’s designed by Elgato. It’s a very easy app, that can be used by anyone and furthermore is extremely useful (ie to see what’s on TV and the information about shows).
Overall, I was really impressed with the EyeTV W, and would really suggest it for people looking for a portable TV hotspot, that does NOT use your data in order to stream TV to your device.
Just a few notes:
-You cannot connect more than one device to the dongle
-Google services should be turned off, in order to have the least interference with the service
-Your phone’s battery will be also drained, due to the constant usage of the phone’s Wi-Fi signal
I received the Denon AH-D600 headphones from Little Red Rooster PR. I should note that the pair I received had an acknowledged defect in the headband. I mentioned this to the PR agency via a private YouTube video and they did state: “It isn’t supposed to be like that” – I waited over 6 months to receive a replacement pair, and after persistent asking I never received another D600 pair. My experience with the PR agency was horrible and turned sour very quickly (as they wanted glowing reviews and not honest ones). I’m a man of principle and always stick to my word when it comes to producing honest reviews. If this means losing a PR contact, then so be it. I won’t ever be “bought out” by any PR agency, nor will I succumb to someone preventing me from completing my review.
What I’m trying to say is: I received a defective pair (build quality wise) – however decided to mention it in my review and NOT direct my review into a negative spiral. Just because I received a defective pair, doesn’t mean the headphone should be slandered – but instead it should be mentioned so that consumers are aware of the flaws of the headphones.
The PR agency on the other hand – I would strongly suggest against (I wasn’t the only one that had a negative experience with them) and I’m surprised they’ve got such a major brand like Denon under their belt. I’ve dealt previously with Denon, directly via their marketing manager (which unfortunately left Denon) and had an amazing experience with them. Thus, my regards fro Denon hasn’t really dropped – but the quality of their headphones on the other hand will be discussed in this review. Especially in comparison to the older line, more specifically the (modded) Denon AH-D2000 that I happen to own, use and have reviewed.
First of all I would like to thank MustardPR for sending me out the Klipsch X7i’s for review.
They can be found on AmazonUK for around £130 (price fluctuates) – the review is based on a £130 price tag.
After having listened to the Klipsch S3M, which had disappointed me, knowing their brothers the S4’s – I was intrigued to see if Klipsch had increased the sound and quality with their latest earphone range.
