Sumvision Nemesis Ultra - Illumination

First of all I would like to thank Sumvision for sending me the keyboard for review. The keyboard can be found on AmazonUK for £55. This keyboard is one of the cheapest mechanical keyboards I’ve ever come across, which also uses a switch that I’ve never heard about – the “Content Mechanical Switch” – which is, according to Sumvision, identical to the “Kailh Mechanical Switch“, which can be found in recent Razer keyboards (Razer and others re-brand these switch as their own – ie. the “Razer Switch” is in fact made by Kailh)

Perixx PX-5200 Cherry MX Blue Mechanical Keyboard Review – A well-built keyboard that’s made for typing

Pros: Build quality, Cherry MX Blues, backlight illumination
Cons: Lack of accessories, no included software, no adjustable backlight, lack of media keys, cannot change repeat rate/delay, no wrist wrest, loud keyboard (due to MX Blues)

Perixx PX-5200 keyboard - Looks

First of all I would like to thank Perixx for sending me the keyboard for review. The keyboard can be found on AmazonUK for £80 and AmazonUSA for $100. The keyboard can be found in both UK and US layouts. After having previously reviewed the Perixx PX-5000, which utilised Cherry MX Black switches, I was intrigued to see how the PX-5200 that utilised Cherry MX Blues compared.

Perixx PX-5000 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – A heavy touch at a cheap price

Pros: Well built keyboard, nice white and adjustable LED backlight, accessories, extra keys, cable management, audio and USB ports on the keyboard
Cons: Heavy on touch (MX Black Cherry switches) – thus not recommended for typing

Perixx PX-5000 - Keys

First of all I would like to thank Perixx for sending me the keyboard for review. The keyboard can be found on AmazonUK for £70, and AmazonUSA for $100.
This is a US layout keyboard, despite being on Amazon UK. Perixx made me aware of this, prior to receiving the PX-5000. It actually didn’t bother me that much and I must say it worked flawlessly. If you do have problems with a US layout, then I suggest not buying it. Furthermore, you can always change the Windows keyboard layout to US if you so wish. I shall not be taking into account the US vs UK layout in this review, as I was aware of the US layout and I am indeed reviewing a US layout keyboard.

SteelSeries Apex Gaming Keyboard Review – Soft on the eyes, hard on the touch

Pros: Programmable keys, lighting, cable length, USB ports on the keyboard, big space bar
Cons: Key pressing is hard especially for FPS gaming and typing, software conflicting with other programs

The Apex can be purchased from a variety of resellers, such as AmazonUK, SteelSeries themselves, PC World and Currys. The prices vary quite a bit, but the average price I found was around £80. It can also be found on AmazonUSA for $82.

Unboxing, Pictures & Initial Impressions of the Logitech K400 Wireless Keyboard

I bought this keyboard with the intention of using it in lectures at University, with my Samsung Galaxy S III.
I wanted something small, portable, and more so compatible.
The mouse was an added extra with the Logitech, over something like the HP TouchPad – Which I found might come in useful, especially seeing as I might want to edit some previous text I had entered, and more so for a small price difference.
I bought the Logitech K400 from Amazon UK for £28.80 & AmazonUSA for $25.

Initial Impressions
-Light keyboard
-Works great on the Samsung Galaxy S III
-Keyboard keys are soft on touch
-Mouse tracking is good
-Very low profile keyboard
-Nice design
-Good connectivity (range)

A full review, will come after I start using it in lectures and testing its capabilities with my S3.
