First of all, I would like to thank Grado for sending me out the GR8’s for review. It has been a long time that I have them now, and haven’t proceeded in writing the review, as I have given them a chance to be compared to other earphones I own, and more so, for other people to give them a try, and let them give me their opinions on them too.
The GR8’s come in at quite an expensive price, at £280 for a moving armature driver earphone, one could buy a triple BA driver from Shure, or even Westone.
Although the technologies, are slightly different from each other. One being a BALANCED armature, the other a MOVING armature. At the end of the day, it is supposed to produce the same sound one would get from a or even a few BA drivers – for more information on driver technology, check this link out (Grado GR8 is also mentioned there!)
So let’s see how the Grado GR8’s compare!

First of all I would like to thank the lovely Tanya, from Fischer Audio for sending me out the Wicked Queen’s!
Before getting into the review I would like to say that Fischer Audio was to me, an unknown, but yet a very established brand in Asia. Thus it came to my delight when I found these headphones being listed around the EU a little more; For example, the Wicked Queen’s can be bought from Top Dog Headphones, who are an authorised dealer!
I have also seen the Wicked Queen’s in two colours, white, as I have, and in yellow too.

First of all I would like to thank Ultimate Ears for sending me out the UE350vi’s to review. Despite me having only android/PC devices, I received the iPhone version of these. Which was slightly frustrating, as UE have both the non-mic version, and the Android version of the UE350’s. They all fall under the same price bracket too – so I was disappointed in that respect for receiving the one, out of the 3, that wouldn’t work properly. That said, I listen to my music via my Digizoid ZO2 amp, which bypasses the mic functionalities, but more so, my Samsung Galaxy S III accepted the connection, without problem, although none of the controls were working. That said, when I put the 350vi’s on my S1, the sound is “lost”, and by that I mean, the S1 doesn’t bypass the mic functionalities, and has problems with the earphones.
