After having the J$ pads and not being 100% satisfied, I went ahead and bought the Lawton Audio Angle Pads, to see what the difference was and if they would provide the same quality sound, but with the comfort that I had with the stock pads.

Comparison with the stock pads:
Pros of the Angle Pads over the Stock Pads:
-They improve the soundstage
-They reduce bass impact (as the driver is further from your ear) – Depends on your preference
-Everything feels a little more controlled/precise, as there is more space between my ears and the driver – Depends on your preference
-Wider hole for your ear
-The stitching/build quality is superb, and the leather feels great
-The grill cover is much more durable, by being stiffer
Cons of the Angle Pads over the Stock Pads:
-They reduce bass impact a little (as the driver is further from your ear) – Depends on your preference
-They are expensive
-They need to be driven more
Comparison with the J$ pads:
Pros of the Angle Pads over the J$ Pads:
-Wider hole for your ear
-The stitching/build quality is superb, and the leather feels better built and stitched over the J$’s
-The Angle Pads aren’t as stiff, meaning they are very much comfortable over the J$’s, thus for people who were glasses the J$’s might prove to be a little uncomfortable!
Cons of the Angle Pads over the J$ Pads:
-They aren’t as deep, and thus don’t have that very deep soundstage
-They are expensive
-The angle pads don’t isolate as well as the J$’s did

Conclusion:
Overall I’m happy with my Lawton Audio Angle pads purchase, and really feel the quality difference, both in the stitching, actual leather smell to the sound quality differences to be well worth the money!
